MADISON, Ala. (WAF) – The person accused of robbing a Redstone Federal Credit Union in Madison on Friday afternoon has been arrested, according to police.


Just before 1:30 p.m. Friday, Huntsville police said someone entered the business on Lawsons Ridge and demanded money.


A few hours later, officials said they believed they had located a person of interest in the Terracotta Lane robbery.


Early Saturday morning, officers identified the suspect who was in custody.


Huntsville Police arrested and charged Anthony Donell Pigott, 31, of Huntsville with first-degree robbery.


Pigott was booked into the Madison County Jail Friday evening and is being held without bond.


Huntsville Police continue to investigate the incident.
